Delivered to Nouméa in 2002 and initially operated as a charter yacht, this Belize 43 has undergone a comprehensive transformation and refit starting in 2013. Renowned for its strength and seaworthiness, the model features a high bridge deck ensuring excellent performance in rough seas.
Major upgrades and improvements
- Custom hardtop bimini in Airex Epoxy covering the entire cockpit, with integrated tracks and removable panels (Sunbrella mesh or clear panels), allowing full enclosure and creating a true all-weather living space. Flexiteck on the cockpit floor and in the transoms.
- Re-shaped hulls with reversed bows, enhancing water entry, modernizing the design, and providing a double protection system against floating objects.
- Removal of aluminum rub rails and moldings prior to repainting, giving the boat a cleaner and more contemporary look.
- Complete re-power: original engines and saildrives replaced with YANMAR 3JH5E and SD60 after a full engine bay refit.
- Canoe boom composite conversion, making hoisting and reefing safer and easier.
- Recent sails (mainsail and genoa from 2021 – Nautilus Sails, New Zealand) in tri-radial Hydranet, in excellent condition.
- Interior refit, modern décor and upgraded finishes for improved comfort and style.
- Upgraded systems: electrical, technical, and electronic equipment largely renewed or improved for enhanced reliability.
Key highlights
- Strong, seaworthy offshore catamaran.
- Extensive refit giving the yacht a second life.
- Reliable, recent sails and engines.
