A fast, simple and very functional catamaran designed by Gary Lidgard, with inputs from the owner. After her construction in New Caledonia the owner undertakes a complet circumnavigation without incidence and with only 1300h on the engines. One hull is dedicated for the owners with numerous shelfs and lockers, the other hull for friends or the children. The interior is painted white, no linings, to save weight and ease of maintenance. The galley communicates directly with the cockpit and is equipped with a static air extractor, lots of cold storage, perforated drawers for the vegetables and a countertop.
The navigation desk is conceived for sailors, the instruments are within a hand reach and the working area has the size of an office.
The sailplan is set up for single handling, the jib is self-tacking and the fully batten main sail is on a boom furler with two code-0 on furlers for light winds. The storm jib was never used and she’s powered with twin Yanmar 40hp, SD50 saildrives.
A beautiful looking catamaran, with lots of potential, that will make you feel proud at anchorage and happy at sea after a refit.
