The Lagoon 42 TPI, engineered and designed by Jeanneau at that time, were built under license by the same yard as J-Boats, based in Rhode Island USA, for the North American market. This joint venture was successful with a high-quality construction and good performance under sail. “IKOLO” is a rare owner version, well maintained, three nice cabins, lots of storage and the galley in the port hull with large countertops, a huge fridge and freezer.
The deck layout is optimized and the self-tacking jib helps when sailing single handed. The standing rigging was replaced recently as well as the trampolines, the chart plotter, the RIB and the outboard.
Several solar panels feed the batteries and the cockpit enclosure protects the crew.
