A true icon of the “British way of sailing,” Snowgoose boats are no longer manufactured but regularly appear on the used market. The freeboard is moderate, the wide roof maintains a fairly smooth profile, and the draft is shallow, as is the resulting height of the cockpit. A streamlined bow—a sort of third central hull—stiffens the bottom and cushions the impact of waves.
