An offshore racing pedigree
The Black Watch 34′ (Deep-V) upholds the legacy of the Black Watch shipyard, renowned for Deep-V
hulls that are direct descendants of the golden age of American offshore racing in the 1950s and 60s.
This hull design owes everything to the pioneering work of Raymond C. Hunt, whose creations—
adopted notably by Dick Bertram—set the standards for modern offshore boating. To this day, many
consider these hulls unsurpassed.
The manufacturing license was acquired in Queensland, Australia, by David and Beverley Stephens in
the late 1980s, launching a range acclaimed for its seaworthiness and long favored in Australia as a
big-game fishing vessel.

Life on board and interior layout
Forward, a spacious area accommodates a double berth or two single crew beds. For efficient fishing
trips, the boat features a roomy galley—complete with fridge-freezer, stainless steel sink, and
convertible dining area—all arranged in an open, simple, and effective layout.
The flybridge and fishing station
The BW34 Flybridge is a superb offshore vessel, featuring a massive open cockpit with Seateck decking.
Access to the flybridge ensures safe and easy movement around the boat, even in rough seas. Upstairs,
the minimalist flybridge houses the helm station, the tender and its crane, as well as a lookout position
that is ideal for spotting fish.
