The Amel 54 is a well-known sturdy offshore cruiser for short handed sailors, designed and built by the shipyard in La Rochelle, with 50 years of experience and open to feed back from owners for constant improvements. This model was the last designed by the founder and regretted Henri AMEL.
An extensive refit was made late 2020, early 2021 with a new standing rigging, all sails and batteries including the hull hydro scrubbed. A custom aluminium targa carries twin wind generators, solar panels and the tender. The custom cockpit hardtop carries more solar panels and gives full protection.
Her inventory is plethoric and of high quality; RIB Highfield new June 2024, two auto pilots, water maker, diving compressor, genset, reversible air-condition, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher…the list goes on.
She’s powered by a Volvo D3-110 with 2600h and antifouling done in June 2024
